Giulio Vampa is a research scientist at the National Research Council of Canada, and part of the Joint Attosecond Science Laboratory (JASLab) between NRC and the University of Ottawa. He is a fellow of the Joint Center for Extreme Photonics (JCEP) and adjunct professor of physics at the University of Ottawa.
Giulio is member of Optica (formerly OSA) and the American Physical Society (APS). For Optica, he chaired the technical group on Short Wavelength Sources and Attosecond/High-field physics and an incubator on “on-chip high-field nanophotonics”. His interests encompass the fundamentals and the applications of attosecond science in materials and nanostructured solids.
