Canada Day in Banff2012 Ultrafast Imaging of Matter
The conference will take place 1-3 July 2012, inclusive. The format will be similar to a Gordon Conference, with sessions in the morning and evening, leaving the afternoons open for recreational outings (biking, hiking, ATV, heli-hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, rafting, caving).
Deadlines:
1 May 2012 - Guaranteed room reservation. Since the Banff Centre is relatively isolated, you will want to book a room. July is high season in Banff, so finding a hotel may be difficult if you leave it too long.
1 June 2012 - Poster abstracts that are to be considered for upgrade to oral presentation.
Related dates:
1 July is Canada Day, and Banff will celebrate with fireworks after sunset.
6-15 July is the Calgary Stampede, a massive annual rodeo celebrating Calgary's cowboy past. 2012 will be the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede.
