Organized outings during the free afternoons during the conference

Depart Banff Centre at 1:30 pm, return by 6:00 pm.
You will get wet, but it is not too challenging. It is suitable for families. You will need a swim suit, towel, a band to hold on your glasses.
Join us for an exciting whitewater paddle raft adventure on the
Scenic Kananaskis River. Enjoy a beautiful mountain river located along
the front ranges of the majestic Canadian Rocky mountains.
This river tour is rated as Grade 2 to 3 and is an excellent experience
for adventurous groups, families and friends. The Kananaskis River
offers wonderful mountain scenery, excitement and natural history. This
half day tour is very popular for people looking for an introduction to
whitewater or river experience the whole family and group can enjoy.

Bow River (1 hour/ $43 per person) this is a scenic route, which
is very flat. This ride is very nice and relaxing, going through the
forest then along the side of the Bow River where the mountains and
river are very pretty to see. It is great for beginners because it is
nice and flat.
Spray River (1/hour $50 per person) This one is a little more
adventurous and a little less scenic. This ride goes across the Fairmont
golf course, it has 2 river crossings, and it goes a little further up
Sulphur Mountain. I think choosing this one will depend on how
comfortable your riders will be crossing rivers. Departs daily on the
hour from 9am-5pm.
Sundance
loop (2 hours/ $78 per person) Departing from Warner Stables, our
cowboys will lead you pass the natural sulphur hot springs flowing from
the Cave & Basin and along the Bow River. Fantastic scenery surrounds as
you climb up Sulphur Mountain around the Windy Knoll viewpoint. The ride
loops around the marsh, following the Bow River, bringing you back to
Warner Stables. You will cross two rivers, so some horse riding
experience would be helpful.
We will need to organize vehicles to get to the stables in Banff.
